    Dear Lion Rubadiri
Congratulations on all your work especially giving guidance to this government…..
    .
Can I suggest that ACTT call its own Conference/Seminar not on Multi but on our Cross-Cultural society or TransCultural as Ortiz calls our Caribbean Americas.

As you have been noting SO MUCH IS BEING LOST…THE LEGACIES THAT SHOULD BE FOUNDATIONS OF FUTURES…..
    Some Ideas….
THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN should be restored and given where possible to the Artists to develop their work with state et al support ///as Cuba did with its great houses ….
WRITERS – THE BASICS OF ALL THE ARTS AND MEDIA sore in need of direction – ARE TOTALLY NEGLECTED and could be housed in one, complete with a curriculum of Training etc etc.
One could house our much needed SCHOOL OF MUSIC, Another our SCHOOL OF ART/PAINTING /DESIGN……
.Stollmyers Castle could be a / Magical Children’s Centre for the Arts and Theatre
The Queens Park West Ginger Bread House is again another place for Art…..
Why are we letting these ROT ?

WHERE IS OUR TOTAL STEELBAND CENTRE/.SCHOOL,/CONCERT YARD,RECORDING STUDIO and place for the World Annual Pan Festival ?
DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE CARNIVAL MUSEUM IS ? When will we build a Guggenheim style rising circular glass/transparent Museum for our magnificent Carnival costumes so they can be displayed against the skies ?
NAPA NEEDS A BOARD OF ARTISTS/ARTISTES – ( not academics or civil servants to organize it and bring in the best of the region and the world and to so develop our own arts

    “And so on “………

The Total Pan Centre and Carnival and Steelband Museum have been submitted multiple times. To no avail of course. The thing is what is needed first is a massive Heritage Warehouse that begins storing and curating the National Collection in all its forms. The Warehouse would then feed in to all the various Museums that are necessary. In that way you can start multiple Museums and Galleries as incubators with the Brain Trust necessary to build them. As regards the call for the Magnificent 7 its a little more complicated as its tied up with Heritage and Conservation issues and there are also issues in terms of retrofitting the spaces for the Arts. They may make more sense as more leisure interactive Heritage-bound spaces than pure Art-facilities…
